Buying property in Australia is a complicated process to successfully settle without the help of a professional who is knowledgeable about conveyancing. Conveyancing solicitors are lawyers specialising in property conveyancing and property law, and they can explain the legal side of the process to ordinary people. Conveyancing, on the other hand, is the legal process of transferring property ownership from one person to another. Getting advice from a conveyancing solicitor who works at a registered firm before making an offer is highly recommended to ensure you buy the right property. Aside from giving you advice, a conveyancing solicitor can act as your representative throughout the conveyance.

In 1794, the first European settlers arrived in Richmond and inhabited the 12 hectares farm in what is now known as Pitt Town. The land was known to be the third area to have European settlement in Australia after Sydney and Parramatta.
