One of the essential establishments of the suburb is the Eureka Hall, built in 1906. The hall has been the community meeting place for more than a century. During World Wars 1 and 2, the Eureka Red Cross used the hall as a meeting place, making it the suburb’s oldest charity. Since its establishment, Eureka Hall has had several functions, such as a venue for meetings, concerts, games, parties and wedding receptions.
