Buying property in Epping is quite challenging due to the tight competition on the market. On top of that, conveyancing, the buying process, is a complex transaction without the help of a solicitor specialising in property law. A conveyancing solicitor can help you ensure you buy the right property. Most importantly, a licensed solicitor from a registered conveyancing law firm like LEAD Conveyancing easily navigates the whole process due to their natural knowledge. Engaging a firm before making an offer is a wise move to ensure you are well informed about your desired property's ‘nooks and crannies’.
Epping is a middle-income earning suburb of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, located within the local government area of the City of Parramatta. The 2021 census conducted by the Australian Bureau of Statistics showed that the suburb has a population of more than 18,000, 52% females and 48% males, and the average age of residents is 37, a year younger than the Australian national average. 38% of the population was born in Australia, while the rest were born overseas, particularly in China, India, South Korea, Hong Kong and Malaysia. Religious groups in the suburb include Catholicism, Hinduism, Anglican and Buddhism.
The Aboriginal Australian Wallumettagal tribe was the first to live between the Lane Cone River and the Parramatta River. In 1899, the name Epping was considered due to the suggestion by William Midson, a local landowner on the land. Midson based it on a town where his father was born. The post office and train station names were changed to Epping. As late as 2016, portions of the suburb were under three different councils: Hornsby Shire, City of Ryde and City of Parramatta. In the same year, Epping became a suburb within the local government area of the City of Parramatta only.
