Why A Camden Conveyancer Is Important

Conveyancing is a complex process that is difficult to navigate without the help of a conveyancing solicitor. It is a legal process of transferring property ownership from the seller to the buyer, involving regulations and laws throughout its stages. Conveyancing solicitors are lawyers that specialise in conveyancing and property law. They know the ins and outs of selling and buying a property. So before you make an offer, engage a conveyancing law firm like LEAD Conveyancing to ensure that an experienced professional assesses the property you desire to buy. Precisely, a conveyancing solicitor can

  • Give you legal advice
  • Review the contract of sale
  • Negotiate with the seller or seller’s representative on your behalf

Facts About Camden Conveyancing Service Area

Camden is a suburb of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia that is rich in history. The town is over 10 square kilometres wide and about 40 miles southwest of Sydney’s central business district. The 2016 census showed that it has almost 2000 residents, 53% females and 47% males, and the average age of residents is 32, 6 years younger than the Australian national average. More than 80% of the residents were born in Australia, while the remaining per cent were born overseas in England, Scotland, Ireland, New Zealand and Germany. The most common religious group is Catholic, followed by Anglican.

Different Aboriginal Australians occupied portions of Camden; the southern highland was inhabited by the Gandangara tribe, the northern region on the Nepean River by the Muringong tribe, and the eastern part by the Tharawal tribe. The Gandangara people called the land Benkennie, meaning ‘dry land’. In 1795, European explorers arrived and named it Cowpastures due to their discovery of the previously missing herd of cattle. In 1805, then-governor Philip Gidley King reluctantly ordered a surveyor to measure 2000 hectares for John Macarthur, a British army officer who had been promised land by Lord Camden, Secretary of State for War and the Colonies. To honour his sponsor, Macarthur named his property Camden Park.

Camden is a suburb that has wider roads compared to the neighbouring towns. The suburb has a semi-rural, old-fashioned atmosphere perfect for people looking for a very different life from city life. It is far enough from the city centre for a peaceful Sunday morning with your family. Some statistics of Camden include

  • It has 3 public high schools, 8 Catholic schools and 3 Anglican schools
  • It has a humid subtropical climate
  • It houses the University of Sydney’s research facilities for the veterinary and agricultural schools

Macarthur Park is a vast open space with scenic views and a serene atmosphere. It is a perfect park for a date, a weekend hangout with family and friends and an exercise area.
