Noosa is a coastal town located in the suburb of Shire Noosa in a popular area close to the Sunshine Coast of Queensland. This suburb township is only about 136 kilometers to the north of the state capital, Brisbane. Also called Noosa Heads, this part of Queensland is famous for its luxury beaches. It is surrounded by several localities like Gympie, Caloundra, northern towns like Maryborough, and southern towns like Caboolture.
Noosa Heads may be a popular tourist attraction today; however, it has a rich and illustrious history. Sometime in the 1800s, the suburb town thrived immensely from the trading of timber sourced from the local milling industry. As time went by, it developed into a tourist center with a thriving economy by the 1920s. Here, exotic cafes and hotels sprung up along the seashore line. However, this has always created tension between the local community and property developers.
The town was eventually named Noosa Heads in 1988, and ever since, there has been a steady stream of people from the south to Noosa Heads. This suburb is also home to some of Queensland's famous beaches, such as
The property and real estate market of Noosa has a unique story unlike no other in Australia. This is because the town has risen to the top and has a local property market that has witnessed a meteoric rise in value over the last decade. As a result, the Noosa property market is one of the most sought-after local markets in the whole of the country. Current data reveal that the town has the 3rd highest rate of property capital growth in Australia, which is quite fascinating when you consider that it is only a suburb more than a hundred kilometers outside the state capital. The meteoric rise of its real estate has also driven property prices up and the cost of construction.
The median price of a housing unit in Noosa hit an all-time high of $475,000 as of 2018. The jump was an increase in value of more than 30%. During this period, real estate owners in the area saw the value of their property increase by no small measure. So much so that of all the suburbs in the country, it occupied 3rd place in terms of property value rise. Only two suburbs outperformed Noosa in this category, with Sunshine Beach, a neighboring suburb being one of them.
The area's development shows no sign of slowing down any time soon as there are more development projects underway. If current trends are anything to go by, the property market Noose will only continue to grow.

Finally, paying regular visits to Hastings Street will do you a world of good. Hastings is one of the most developed streets in Noosa.
