Everton Park is a suburb in Brisbane City of Queensland, Australia, with a population of more than 8,000 people. The area was established in 1954 and given its current name. Before then, a school called Bunyaville State School was opened on June 18, 1935. Then on the 23rd of January 1961, another school called Everton Park State School was opened, although the initial name planned for the school was Stafford High School. 

By 1965,  the local library was opened, and after then, the area took up a residential outlook. Today it is home to many middle-income family households. Everton Park also has a very religious background, with St Jude’s Anglican Church, one of the earliest to be established in the area. Archbishop Fox Arnott dedicated the church in 1978, but it took many years for the church to be approved by Archbishop Phillip Aspinall in 2012. Today, the building where the old church stood is not occupied by Brisbane Brass Music Group.
