What exactly does a Buyers Conveyancer do

What does a buyer conveyancer do for you?

It's a pretty simple process. Number one, we'll review the contract for you if you give us the opportunity. Before you sign that is, if you've signed the contract, it's okay, it's not too late. Come to us with a signed contract and we'll go through the contract, hopefully during cooling off, so you can still have a chance to walk away.

If you've come to us already having decided that this is the one and there is no way you can back out. We will do the conveyance for you. We will go through the contract, get your information, ask you, what are you doing with this property? Ask you to fill in some forms, give us some signatures. Go and do an ID check with all the information that we have received from you at that stage. We will then contact your lender, book settlement, do the pre settlement searches and calculate exactly how much it is that you need to prepare for settlement. The step-by-step process. We will give you a to do list so that you know exactly what to do when. We'll also follow up with you at the right time to remind you to do something that you might have forgotten.

So really, you don't have to remember what conveyancing is about and how to do it. We will handhold you through every step of the way. On settlement day, all you have to worry about is when to go and pick up the keys. We will tell you when to pick up the keys, your agent will tell you where to pick up the keys and take you to your property, hopefully, with the champagne in hand.
